The Dmv does not worry much about cars that old alreight so relax Once a vehicle is past 100,000 miles its considered in excess of mechanical limits. there is a box on the title, or also a form you can pick up and sign. so get the car registered in your name and tell them its over 100.000 miles ok? Im interested to see if you can get the car registered to you. Now if the guy sold you a car not in his name, and you have other problems with it. you can sue him in small claims court for 700. next time do not listen to some dumb dork and get greedy trying to save a few bucks, its not worth it.And if something happens, you look bad. Next time put the full price down, or at least make two one right one not get it?
