Yes, they would be yours. Just explain to her that they were bought for YOU. Tell her that you do all the work for the horses so it wouldn't be fair if she had one, and besides, what exactly is the point of having a horse if you don't know how to ride? Let her come out and pet the horse sometimes so she doesn't get upset.
