I'm considering getting a flip horse?

So I've been breaking and training for a couple of years now. So I'm wondering if i get a unbroken or green broke horse spend 6 months or so training would it be worth the cost of board and feed by the time i sell? or would i just be loseing money/breaking even? (board around here is anywhere from 175-400)
