Can anyone help me with my x58 sabertooth board and PCI-e SSD as a boot device?

So I'm building my first machine in a long while. Among the issues I've run into (most of which I think I can hash through) is that I cannot get windows to recognize my OCZ PCI-e SSD as a potential boot device. I'm running this on the Asus x58 sabertooth board, and the raid controller on the board sees the drive, but the windows installer does not recognize it as a drive for installation. Any recommendations?
