BMW Speedometer/Odometer Not Working..?

I was just driving for 4 hours today home from Vancouver and my Speedometer stopped working. I tried few things including pushing the knob that resets the mileage on the current trip, and that caused it to reset then stop counting... I was very confused... The ABS light turned on as well if that helps. Any ideas how to fix this issue?
