My eyes are bad and unemployment in il stopped my benefits, can i sue them?

I have a work slip from MD that states "NO DRIVING AT NIGHT" but they still stopped my benefits..I appealed their decision now its in front of the board of revue and they told me it might take 3 months to a year before someone makes a decision or makes one at All...I could never do that to people and not feel bad,, these people have no conscious...I have a disabled brother that lives with me and they dont care,,i need my money.............what can I do?????
