2003 Honda Civic (Auto) - 100K Service?

It sounds to me like the previous owner has followed through with the maintenance so there's no need to do another major service. Just continue to service your Honda at the recommended service intervals and your car will go another 100,000 miles easy. One thing I would check on is whether or not the previous owner had the timing belt/water pump replaced at the last major service. Honda's must have the timing belt changed at their proper times or else if it breaks while driving your looking at ALOT more money to repair the engine because internal damage (bent valves etc...) will most likely occur. Most Honda's require it at around 90,000 miles. Good luck and hope this helps.**** edited: If the timing belt wasn't done then I would have it done A.S.A.P. Also have the water pump, tensionor, Cam seal(s) and belts checked and/or replaced if needed while their in there since the labor will be only a little more. The dealer will use good quality Honda parts but at a higher cost of course. Also if their on a flat rate pay scale which they ALL are where I live, cutting corners tends to happen because the tech is given a certain time to complete your repairs and if he's not quick enough he'll have to eat whatever time extra it may take. I'd advise finding a shop through word of mouth to repair your car where the hourly wage tends to produce better and more thorough repairs. Good luck to you.
