I just found a small, painful bump on my elbow?

It's probably just a run of the mill bruise. Sometimes I get cuts and don't notice it until later. It could just be an irritated spot on your skin. Maybe you rubbed it against something repeatedly. Just don't worry about it, odds are it's nothing.
