Does releasing clutch to quickly in gears 2345 cause any damage to the car components?

When i was learning to drive stick i sometimes get this shudder when releasing clutch on gears above 1 i don't know if i am releasing it to quickly or if it was with the manual it self because it is my instructors car, the odometer is above 100.000KM it is a 2005 Toyota corolla conquest the ones used in Australia.
